Rules of the Somerset Star Awards

1. The Somerset Star Awards are open to everyone in Somerset, from individual volunteers and voluntary and community groups to larger organisations.

2. Local awards will be presented during National Volunteers Week (1 to 7 June). Details will be confirmed when the nominations are announced.

3. All information must be on the entry form; no additional material will be considered.

4. Volunteers could include people who set up groups or charities, committee members, trustees, buddies and mentors.

5. All entries must be received by 5pm on Friday 21 April 2017. Entries received after this will not be considered.

6. District Star nominations will be carried forward to the Somerset County Council Chairman’s Awards in the autumn, where the County Star will be announced.
