Celebration Day Activities

Cooperative Activities:  Water Can Relay Equipment: Large barrel of water and enough water cans for each team, cones Description of activity: On the signal to start, the first person on each team carries his team’s watering can to the barrel of water. He or she fills their can and quickly runs to the teams bucket and dumps the water before returning to the line. The next person repeats the same race. The first team to fill the bucket to the designated line is the winner.

 BIG Shirt Race Equipment: Very large t-shirts (enough for each team), cones Description of activity: 3-4 students (depending on grade level) from each team put the large t-shirt on over their clothes and make their way around a cone and back to their relay line. Students take the shirt off and pass it to the next group of students who will get the shirt on and make their way around the cone and back in line. This process continues until all members of each team complete this crazy activity!

Relay Races:  Ball Between the Knees Equipment: One nerf ball per team, one cone per team Description of activity: on the signal to begin, the first person on each team places the ball between the knees and jumps or walks to the cone and back. This continues until all members of each team get to complete this plunger challenge!
