A regular meeting of the Glen Ridge Board of Education was held on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the Glen Ridge High School LGI room. The meeting was held in accordance with applicable NJ Statutes governing public Board of Education meetings. Not Present: Mr. Campbell Mr. Moran STATEMENT OF PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE This is a regular meeting of the Glen Ridge Board of Education. Adequate notice of this meeting has been provided in that this Board notified the Glen Ridge Paper and the Star Ledger on February 12, 2014. Said notice was published in the Star Ledger and the Glen Ridge Paper on February 20, 2014. The date, time, and location of this meeting were also emailed to all recipients of the annual schedule of the Board's meetings. John M. PRESIDENT'S REPORT Ms. Ginsburg reported that she attended the Garden State Coalition of Schools where the subject was on PARCC testing. SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT Dr. Mucciolo reported that the district has started its curriculum review of Language Arts and World Language. Dr. Mucciolo also reported that he attended the retirement dinner for Captain Wohlgemuth which was held at the Glen Ridge Country Club.

Dr. Mucciolo reported on the 2013-2014 School Self-Assessment under the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights (ABR) and its submission for approval (resolution A-3). PUBLIC COMMENTS (Agenda Items) The following comments/questions were received from the public:  Can copies of the exhibits be made available?  What are mentors?  An explanation of the merit goals was requested.
