SUBMITTED BY: USA CO-SUBMITTED BY:

The General Assembly,

22Fully alarmed, that many people are dying because of the lack of economy, 23technology, and information, 24 25Keeping in mind, that the rich countries have many unwanted, used, or extra things 26that could be still used, 27 28Having heard, that there is a huge gap between more and less developed countries, 29leaving poor countries fell behind with very poor technology and information, 30 31Pointing out that, economically more developed countries such as U.S could take 32the power from the economically less developed small countries such as the 33countries in Africa and some parts of Asia, 34 35Recognizing that, not all the people have same amount of access to information as 36the people in economically well developed countries do; for example in Somalia, 37there are only 200 internet users out of about 8 million people, 38 39Having considered that, many children in less developed countries don’t have an 40opportunity to be educated for future; for example in Niger, the total literacy 41rate for adults is 18% which means the 82% of the population in Niger cannot write 42or read, 43 44Bearing in mind that many orphans in poor countries can’t get any support from the 45country and have to live with any body that can help them or many times by them 46selves; for example in Haiti there is no government to help the poor and it is 47estimated that there are about 7000 street children living in Port-au-Prince, 48sleeping in cemetery and looking for their own food everyday.
