Schools: Derek has worked in the education sector as well as part of the H. Griffiths crew that renovated the heating systems at Runnymede Public School and Centennial College Warden Woods Campus.

Process Piping: Derek had one year experience at Cadbury Chocolates and at the Petro Canada Refinery in Clarkson Ontario.

Medical / Healthcare: Derek has 3 years Medical Gas experience at Ajax Pickering Hospital, North York General Hospital, Sunnybrook Hospital and Toronto General Hospital. He was the General Foreman at the University Health Network Hospitals in downtown Toronto supervising the shutdown and switch over of a new Medical Gas Bulk Storage Facility supplying Toronto General Hospital, The Hospital for Sick Children, Mount Sinai Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital. Derek spent seven years as General Foreman at various other projects in the aforementioned hospitals and the past four years as project manager.

Tenant Alterations / Modifications: Derek had five years experience in the Tenant alteration field as a plumber.

Food Service: Derek was the General Foreman for the construction of the Bymark Restaurant at the Toronto Dominion Centre, the Wrap n Roll Head Office/Restaurant in Toronto and the Restaurant at the Art Gallery of Ontario.

Presently project manager for Infrastructure Ontario’s, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute project at 550 University Avenue, Toronto, Ontario.
