2014 ASMC Mile High Chapter Scholarship Award Program

Purpose: - To recognize two outstanding graduating high school seniors for achievements.

- To provide financial assistance to seniors in accomplishing their financial management baccalaureate educational goals.

Scholarship - Two scholarship awards for $1,500.00 each. Award: - Recognition at an ASMC Mile High Chapter luncheon.

Nomination - Nominations are to be made by the high school counselor with no more than Procedure: two per school. Selection will be made by the ASMC Mile High Chapter Scholarship Awards Committee.

Scholarship - Nominations must be submitted in accordance with the scholarship guidelines shown below and in the Student Biography Form and Nomination Form.

- Nominee must be an outstanding graduating Colorado high school senior.

- Nominee must be entering a field of study directly related to financial management (accounting, finance, business administration, economics, public administration, computer science, or operations research related to financial management).

- Nominee’s scholastic achievements, leadership ability, extracurricular activities, and career goals will be considered, and must be completely documented in the letters of recommendation, biography, and essay.

- Two letters of recommendation, at least one of which must be from an academic official.

- Copy of nominee’s high school transcript(s).

- Copy of nominee’s ACT or SAT score.

- Proof of enrollment or acceptance letter if enrollment documentation is unavailable.

Deadline: - All nominations must be received no later than March 2, 2014.

Note: - In the absence of suitable nominees, ASMC reserves the right to withhold award(s).
