Members Present: Matt Saylor, Mark Laurent, Kim Caudill, Mike Delong, Steve Poiry, Scott Brooks, Stew Arnold, Jeff Grossman, Jerry Kaiser

I. Welcome Introductions a. Scott Brooks and Kim Caudill New Members

II. Treasury Report a. Mark read balance for checking account - Account info available b. Concession profit $2,650 increase from last year approximately $800 better cost control and re-pricing of products. c. Discussed volunteers vs paid concession agreed to stick with paid concessions.

III. Shut down of diamonds a. All appliances and supplies need to be to moved to the top of the hill in storage as soon as possible at Moser. b. Discussed wood shelves for storage at top of hill at Moser, ask Mike Clendennan if that is permitted to install. Jerry will build and discussing with Jeff Dunfee to get materials donated. c. Ask Mike Clendennan regarding Sunnymeade batting cage utility clearance for building an additional batting cage ask where it may be allowed.

2:00PM OCTOBER 12TH - CLOSE DOWN OF DIAMOND EMAIL FOR VOLUNTEERS, PAST BOARD MEMBERS AND PAST MANAGERS . d. Equipment/Keys needed from Chris Baker, Cliff Edmonson, Lenny Felger, Jerry Kaiser, Scott Caudill?, Jeremy Geier?

IV. Koufax Division a. Bischoff combine Adams and East Allen for 13/14 and give opportunity for 15 year old to play high school rules. b. High School wants to assist in building those age groups and possible showcase for help with high school baseball promotion. c. October 2, next meeting for further discussion. 7pm Steel Workers Union Hall, Mark and Mike will attend for more info. d. Check with Clendennan regarding potential restructure of Koufax and other counties involved, ask to make sure that is different from tournament fee of $50 per team to come in. e. Umpires for Koufax, Hoagland is higher paying. Looking for uniformity and umpire scheduling with a pool of umpires still to be ironed out.

f. See who is all in for the surrounding leagues and find out potential of the outcome if we do join or not join, who will be left. Possibly Decatur would be commissioners. g. Mark L. looking for liason to attend meeting, Chris Baker mentioned as a possible. Matt S will talk to him in regards to this representative. h. Discussion regarding entering a whole team and taking league fees allowing entire teams to enter Koufax. Need to look at whole number structure based on decision. Stated there could be more brought to the league with this being permitted and will definitely lose players if it isn’t. Table to the next meeting.

V. Open Floor a. Stew discussed pay for umpires. Hard time getting quality umps with pay competition. $35 across the board for umpires. Will present the list in November of umpires. Koufax causes issues. MOTION STEVE POIRY ACROSS THE BOARD $35 PER GAME UMPIRE, SECOND MATT SAYLOR. ALL IN FAVOR NO OPPOSE. MOTION STEVE POIRY ALL UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE $25 PER GAME UMPIRE, SECOND MATT SAYLOR, ALL IN FAVOR AND NO OPPOSE. b. Meadowbrook mound of dirt we can move around to the other diamonds if needed. If need ask Park board to move to where it is needed. c. Plexi-glass replacement at Moser for announcer box. SCOTT BROOKS checking on material and potential solution. d. List to Clendennan for things that need repaired at all diamonds so he can tell us yes or no. e. Microwave needed for Sunnymeade. Cooler at Meadowbrook concession need repaired. Scott Brooks will call to look into repair cost and if worth repairing
