Was the member of an expert panel addressing the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) (arranged by Columbia University, NY, and Eli Lilly Company) regarding premenstrual dysphoria. Was a member of the SBU (=The Swedish Council on Technology Assessment in Health Care) expert committee on the treatment of anxiety disorders. Was the author of treatment recommendations for the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare regarding Parkinson's disease. Organized, together with Arvid Carlsson and Carol Tamminga, an international workshop on schizophrenia in Göteborg 1994. Co-editor (together with Steiner and Yonkers) for a book on “Mood Disorders in Women” (Dunitz, London), that was described in a review in New England Journal of Medicine as “a scholastic triumph” that “sets a new benchmark for achievement in this field” and “would function as a good model for any textbook on mood disorders”. Has written more than 30 review papers. Has contributed with two chapters in a Swedish book on ADHD. Founder and co-owner of a small research company. Has participated actively in the public debate on issues such as funding of research and ethics in clinical research.

Other Qualifications Has served as faculty opponent at 5 dissertations in Sweden and Norway. Won the award for best teacher at Sahlgrenska Akademin in 2000.
