Operations Supervisor Job Application Fall 2015 Application Please provide the following information:  Name  Current Address  Academic Major/Minor  Cumulative Grade Point Average  If you are CPR/First Aid Certified (not a pre-requisite) and other certifications  Start of UREC employment and present role at UREC  Activities/Service Involvement (campus, community, church, etc.)  Semester of expected graduation Please be as clear and concise as possible in providing your answers to the following questions: 1. Why do you want to become an Operation Supervisor? 2. Describe your perspective of the Operations Supervisor position and how they support the mission of UREC? 3. With this perspective in mind, describe a past experience (employment, travel, volunteer work, etc.) that you feel has helped you develop necessary skills and knowledge to hold this position. 4. What do you feel is the best aspect of UREC? If you could change anything about UREC what would it be and why? 5. How would you describe the difference in management vs. leadership?

The application process: Please notify Hilary that you are interested in becoming an Op Sup Candidate so you are able to sign up for the below requirements through When2Work.  Applications are due to Hilary Bride’s mailbox by 5pm on Wednesday, February 25th by 5pm.  Please sign up for three “Mock Shifts” (one in UREC, one in UPARK and one opening or closing shift) from February 2nd-27th, where you will work alongside a current Op Sup as part of the candidate evaluation process. These will be no more than two hours in length.  You will be scheduled for two panel interviews, one with pro staff and one with Op Sups. These will last 30 minutes  Hiring decisions will be made on Wednesday, March 4th. There may be second interviews that Monday and Tuesday as needed. Each candidate will need to sign up for a 15 minute time to meet with Hilary to discuss their candidacy.
