The PhD student should be suitably prepared to complete a PhD project in three years. The postdoc position has a minimum of 0,6 fte for the duration of the overall project. Additionally, a replacement subsidy can be applied for for the Dutch principal or co-investigator for up to 0,2 fte for max. 36 months, at standard postdoc level. A standard bench fee applies for postdocs and PhD students. All salary costs in ORA are financed in accordance with the most recent version of “akkoord overlaten werkgeverschap NWO-VSNU”.

The costs of a ‘studentassistent’ can be included in the material costs. The subsidy does not cover:  costs of data processing time at computer centres or the acquisition of personal computers or laptops;  costs for accommodation / housing, overhead, maintenance or depreciation. For PhD students and Post docs, costs covered by the bench fee cannot be applied for. For other members of the research team, including those who are not funded through this application, these costs can be included in the material costs.
