Plan and coordinate personnel deployments, redeployments. Plan and manage Command's military and civilian TDY travel program, including budget formulation, reports, orders, and arrangements. Oversee battalion’s security program, Nuclear Biological Chemical program, communications section, and a $90,000 TDY budget.

Directly support the Executive Officer, Command Sergeant Major, and Commander in obtaining information, tabulating data, composing numerous command level correspondence and summaries. Research, develop, coordinate, and publish multiple command and community policies and review policy guidance. Maintain and track Command Group assignments to ensure timely receipt of actions by units and staff.

1 TRAINING TO MEET CONTINGENCY AND MISSION OBJECTIVES. Supervise quarterly training briefings and manage field training exercises. Liaison for German Partnership unit to plan, execute, conduct, train German and American units on weapons and physical fitness. Plan and coordinate transition-to-war, contingency peacetime missions, force modernization, and wartime emergency planning policies for the battalion. Review policy guidance for the battalion operation branch and recommend changes to exercise, force modernization, and mass casualty plans.

RECOMMEND LONG RANGE TRAINING OBJECTIVES. Based on program evaluations, recommend training objectives in terms of organizational structure, programs, and milestones to meet training and operational resource requirements and objectives. Perform program evaluations to sustain deployment posture and ensure continued support of personnel and units moving through the 98th ASG and 100th ASG. Prepare and review policy letters, SOPs, and propose changes to USAREUR guidelines. Interview unit commanders and first sergeants to gain information about organizational missions, functions, and work procedures.

MANAGE AND ANALYZE MANPOWER TO MEET TRAINING AND BATTALION EXERCISES. Coordinate Command's military manpower management system. Assure FYDP data accurately reflects budgeted end-strength, billet requirements and authorizations, and accuracy of Command's Enlisted Distribution and Verification Report. Prepare and process unit status reports.

SUPERVISE INTERNAL SECURITY FOR EMERGENCY PLANS, EDUCATION, AND INVESTIGATIONS. Supervise Personnel Security Program directing subordinate unit level Security Managers, classified information and material control, personnel security, security education, emergency plans, security violations and compromises, classification management, security review of information proposed for public release, security records and foreign travel.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Developed a management system that increased efficiency of processing $90,000 in business travel vouchers and achieved 100 percent accuracy during the annual 2002 audit.

Single-handedly coordinated all Force Protection missions for all subordinate companies in 5 different communities.

Flawlessly planned, executed 5 movements involving a total of 150 personnel to Albania, Macedonia, Kosovo, Turkey, and Iraq. Training and assessing these personnel prior to their movement resulted in all personnel accomplishing their jobs and returning safely home.

Provided technical expertise and guidance to managers, supervisors, and employees on training, safety, welfare, discipline, morale, leave, advancement, evaluations, applications for special schools, entitlements, and commissioning programs.
