First and foremost, Team Tom would like to give a heartfelt “Thank You,” for your generosity in donating to the Fundraising dinner, which was held last September. With so many wonderful donations and hours of hard work, Team Tom was able to raise over $10,000 to support MS research and local programs and services. Team Tom was formulated after family and friends of Tom Jewett came together to support Tom in his fight of 27 years battling MS. Multiple Sclerosis is an autoimmune disorder. The symptoms vary from one person to the next and include numbness in the limbs, vision problems, and difficulty with balance. After a very successful first year, Team Tom is going at it again, in hopes to only reach a higher goal. This event will be similar to last year’s event, of a BBQ, children games, entertainment, raffles, and prizes. The event will be held Saturday September 17th, from 11am-4pm at the Philadelphia American Legion in Philadelphia, NY Team Tom would like to ask for again for donations that could be used for the dinner, silent auction/raffle items. Monetary donations will also be accepted. We appreciate your time and consideration in making a donation for this wonderful cause. Please send your donation to the above address.
