3-Scape™ real-time 3D imaging available on the ACUSON S2000 ABVS enables live capture and display of breast anatomy using high-resolution imaging. With industry- leading volumetric acquisition and multiplanar visualization, we have the unique ability to acquire anatomical coronal plane images that are not available using conventional ultrasound systems. Assessment of the coronal plane provides a clearer representation of the breast’s total architecture and allows better visualization of the segmental organization of the ductal system and surrounding tissue.

In conjunction with our 3D assessment, Dynamic TCE™ tissue contrast enhancement technology enhances borders and reduces speckle noise in an entire volume to reveal clearer subtle tissue differentiation. Innovative breast imaging applications such as eSie Touch™ elasticity imaging enable us to provide further insight into assessment of pathology by displaying the relative stiffness of various types of breast tissue. Also, Fatty Tissue Imaging capabilities of the ACUSON S2000 ABVS provide improved contrast and lateral resolution and increased diagnostic confidence. Measurement accuracy and reproducibility are improved with syngo® eSieCalcs™ native tracing software which automatically calculates lesion length and area.

The adaptive ergonomic design of the ACUSON S2000 ABVS scanning arm provides easy manipulation of the transducer pod and variable compression control eliminates the discomfort typically experienced during a standard mammographic exam.
