BACKGROUND inDocs inDexing was established in January 2010 after certification with Index West. In that time the business has grown from a part-time to a full-time endeavor. What started as a traditional back-of-the- book enterprise has expanded to include semantic database indexing via remote contracting work with Alexander Street Press. In 2013, inDocs inDexing was declared a winner for the Small Business Book Awards in the category of author support. inDocs inDexing continues to be a presence in the publishing community through ongoing judging for the San Diego Book Awards, via management of the Publishers & Writers of San Diego group, and as a respected contributor to publishing-related social media.
