Bajaur Agency:
On 10 September 2012, the security forces claimed to have recovered 19 bodies of militants during a search operation in areas along the border in Salarzai tehsil of Bajaur Agency.
On 10 September 2012, the political administration Bajaur Agency setup five registration points for those affectees of Salarzai area of Bajaur Agency who left their homes because of the militant attack. On 10 September 2012, the tribal elders announced strengthening the Salarzai Qaumi Lashkar for improving the security situation in the border areas in Bajaur Agency.

Orakzai Agency:
On 10 September 2012, militants blew up a government primary school for girls in lower Orakzai Agency.
On 12 September 2012, elders of seven clans of the Orakzai tribe asked the government to repatriate the displaced families and constituted a 15-member jirga to negotiate repatriation process with the government.
On 13 September 2012, the Political administration of Orakazi Agency arrested 40 suspected persons and shifted them to an unknown location.

Kurram Agency:
On 11 September 2012, a car bomb ripped through a crowded market at the busy Kashmir Chowk of Parachinar, the headquarters of Kurram Agency, killing 14 people and injuring 76 others in what appears to be a sectarian attack. On 11 September 2012, the prolonged ban on cellular phone service and occurrence of technical fault in landlines forced the dwellers of Kurram Agency to switch over to Afghan cellular service.

Peshawar:
