Make your own poster or film about what you did last weekend. Make up your own song to learn the verbs avoir, être, the verbs taking être in the past tense and the irregular past participles. Write an email to an imaginary French student of your own age telling them as much as you can about what you did during the last holidays. Invent your own game to revise any set of vocabulary studied so far and try them out on your friends. Use a dictionary to look up 5 more verbs you could use to talk about what you did in the past and work out their past participles. Use them in a short paragraph about what you did last weekend. Imagine you are a famous person being interviewed about your habits and describe what you do during a normal weekend and what you did last weekend and what you intend to do next weekend. Film this or record it as a radio interview. Make a powerpoint presentation on any subject we have studied so far that you could show to a classmate who had missed the lesson so that they could catch up. What would you need to include? How could you best explain and present the material? Try out different vocabulary learning techniques and keep note of which was the most successful for you.
