1.4 SUBMITTALS

4.A. Submit under provisions of Section 01300. 06060-1 4.B. Product Data: Manufacturer's data sheets on each product to be used, including: 4.B.1. Preparation instructions and recommendations. 4.B.2. Storage and handling requirements and recommendations. 4.B.3. Installation methods.

4.C. LEED Submittals: Provide documentation of how the requirements of Credit will be met: 4.C.1. Product Data for Credit MR 4.1 and MR 4.2: For products having recycled content, documentation including percentages by weight of post consumer and pre-consumer recycled content 4.C.1.a. Include statement indicating costs for each product having recycled content. 4.C.2. Product Data for Credit EQ 4.4: For products having Low Emitting Materials, Composite Wood content 4.C.3. Product Data for Credit MR 5.1 and Credit MR 5.2: Submit data, including location and distance from Project of material manufacturer and point of extraction, harvest or recovery for main raw material. 4.C.3.a. Include statement indicating cost for each regional material and the fraction by weight that is considered regional. 4.C.4. Product Data for Credit MR 7: For products having Certified Wood content 4.C.4.a. Include statement indicating costs for each product having Certified Wood content.

4.D. International Living Future Institute Certified: Collins Pine FreeForm particleboard has a Declare Product ID: CCO-0001, LBC Declaration Status: Red List Free.

4.E. Verification Samples: For each product specified, two samples, minimum size 6 inches (150 mm) square, representing actual product, color, and finish.

4.F. Manufacturer's Certificates: Certify products meet or exceed specified properties.

1.5 QUALITY ASSURANCE

5.A. Installer Qualifications: Installer shall have a minimum of two year's experience installing similar materials.

5.B. Mock-Up: Provide a mock-up for evaluation of surface preparation techniques and application workmanship. 5.B.1. Finish areas designated by Architect. 5.B.2. Do not proceed with remaining work until workmanship, color and finish are approved by Architect.

1.6 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

6.A. 06060-2 Store products in manufacturer's unopened packaging until ready for installation.

6.B. Store and dispose of solvent-based materials, and materials used with solvent-based materials, in accordance with requirements of local authorities having jurisdiction.

1.7 PROJECT CONDITIONS

7.A. Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under environmental conditions outside manufacturer's absolute limits.

2.A. Collins Pine FreeForm MR50: Highly Moisture Resistant Particleboard that meets ANSI A 208.1 particleboard standard for moisture-resistance with an MR50 rating. FSC-certified (SCS-COC- 000085), NAF, CARB Exempt, contains 100 percent post-industrial/pre-consumer recycled and recovered fibers. 2.A.1. Physical Properties: ASTM D 1037. 2.A.1.a. Density: 49 lbs/cu ft. 2.A.1.b. Modulus of Rupture: 2,738 psi. 2.A.1.c. Modulus of Elasticity: 453,000 psi. 2.A.1.d. Internal Bond: 167 psi. 2.A.1.e. Face Screw Pull: 339 lbs 2.A.1.f. PART 3 EXECUTION

3.1 EXAMINATION

1.A. Do not begin installation until substrates have been properly prepared.

1.B. If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.

3.2 PREPARATION

2.A. Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.

2.B. Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.

3.3 INSTALLATION

3.A. Fabricate in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.

3.4 PROTECTION

4.A. Protect installed products until completion of project.
