CENTRAL CASS SPECIAL SCHOOL BOARD MEETING June 1, 2017 @ 5:14 p.m.

The Special Meeting of the Central Cass School Board was held Thursday, June 1, 2017, at 5:14 p.m. in Conference Room A. The meeting was called to order by President Jack Haines with all members present. Also present were Ross Wilmes, Brandon Kaster, Jeff Salowitz, and Kendall Radke.

Superintendent Forness presented a PowerPoint to explain the alternates and reasons for them.

Chad Priewe moved to approve bid package one, alternate 1, 5th street utility work. Stefanie Meyer seconded. Assuming a roll call vote, all members voted “Yes”. Motion carried.

Chad Priewe moved to approve bid package one, alternate 2, 5th street paving. Brent Everson seconded. Assuming a roll call vote, all members voted “Yes”. Motion carried.

Chad Priewe moved to approve bid package two, alternate 4 heat pumps for 3 additional classrooms. Stefanie Meyer seconded. Assuming a roll call vote, all members voted “Yes”. Motion carried.

Chad Priewe moved to approve bid package two, alternate 7, 3 additional classrooms shelled in. Ann Ueland seconded. Assuming a roll call vote, all members voted “Yes”. Motion carried.

Chad Priewe moved to approve bid package two, alternate 10, partial roof replacement. Stefanie Meyer seconded. Assuming a roll call vote, all members voted “Yes”. Motion carried.

Chad Priewe moved to approve bid package two, alternate 11, existing fiber backbone upgrade. Brandy Sprunk seconded. Assuming a roll call vote, all members voted “Yes”. Motion carried.

Chad Priewe moved to approve bid package two, alternate 15, bus barn electrical and mechanical. Mike Lee seconded. Assuming a roll call vote, all members voted “Yes”. Motion carried.

The June regular meeting is scheduled for Monday June 12th at 7:00 a.m. in Conf. Room A.

Brandy Sprunk moved to adjourn the special meeting at 6:23 p.m.
