Fortified Soft Diet

A soft diet does not need to be pureed or sieved. It should be a consistency which can be broken into small lumps by your tongue, not your teeth. Soft food is easily mashed with a fork and requires little chewing. A soft diet is necessary if you have been advised to have one by your Speech and Language specialist, have trouble chewing, or become tired quickly when eating.
