Grade 6 School Supplies List 2013 – 2014 School Year

To make your job easier when shopping for school supplies, we have compiled a list of items we would like students to have:

 5 packages of 80 page Exercise books – please, no 3 subjects in one or wire exercises.  1 package of loose leaf paper.  15 duo-tang folders (include 3 red, 3 blue, 3 green, 3 yellow, 3 orange)  30 cm ruler – please, not a flexible one, as they do not provide accurate measurements.  Calculator (a cheap one from the Dollar Store will be sufficient)  Dictionary – Collin’s Canadian English or Webster’s New World recommended, French-English Dictionary  Thesaurus – Webster’s New World recommended  Math set (protractor – try to get a circle protractor)  Scissors (large or small depending on preference)  2 white erasers  Pencil Case  Coloured pencils  Oil pastels  Crayola washable markers  Fine point dry erase marker  4 large glue sticks(1.41oz)  Inside sneakers  Gym shorts and t-shirt  3 packages of tissues  1 inch binder with pockets  Dividers for binder

Hopefully, having this list will help in shopping for these supplies throughout the summer. If there are other things you normally buy, you may still do so if you wish. Some of these supplies will not last the whole school year and will need to be purchased periodically.
