KICKER Hits Hard and Heavy with Bass Offerings at 2007 CES

STILLWATER, USA – KICKER Car Audio brings the bass, and lots of it, to the 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show January 8- 11. In 2007 KICKER dealers will line their store shelves with seven new models of subwoofers from the mobile audio leader, including a high-performance subwoofer that fits the tightest of installation locations.

Also included in the anticipated product release is the sequel to the booming SoloX Subwoofer, the evolution of the round-woofer lineup, all- new sizes of hard-hitting sub boxes, 11 sets of rockin’ component and coaxial systems, and more audio ammunition to give watercraft some attitude! KICKER’s 2007 products can be found in Booth 421 of the Las Vegas Convention Center’s North Hall.

The new CompVT Subwoofer carries a mounting depth of less than 4-1/2 inches, but still hammers like a KICKER woofer would be expected. The SoloX Subwoofer gets the first makeover since its stunning 2003 release. Raging bassmakers CompVR and Comp Subwoofers prove again that their hard-earned “best-in-class” moniker is no myth, and they fill new sizes of stout Loaded Sub Boxes that never quit. The CompVT-Loaded Sub Box is a killer as well, but comes slam-packed in a convenient smaller enclosure due of its reduced bulk. All-new DS Component Systems and DS Coaxials give literal meaning to the words “sound value.” Finally, KICKER’s marine lineup expands with the KMT6 Long-Throw Tower System, two extra-fortified MX Multi-Channel Amplifiers, and the stalwart KB6000 Full-Range Speaker System.

Round or Square, KICKER Subwoofers are the Way to Go In 2007 KICKER has a slamming subwoofer for every possible situation. Whether you require the pounding round sound of the Comp, CompVR, or unrivaled CompVX, or the pulverizing perfection of patented square woofers in the Solo-Baric L5, Solo-Baric L7, or the epic SoloX, KICKER has your answer for bass. The question to ask is not what sub are you gonna buy… but what KICKER sub are you gonna buy?

Now from KICKER, the latest pavement pounder is a true high-performance subwoofer with a reduced mounting depth that hits unmercifully from the slimmest locations. The new CompVT Subwoofer gives you all the bass you can stand in the narrowest working space! No thin mids here – it’s real KICKER bass that can take serious power! A special four-layer voice coil provides the CVT the ability to work with severe amounts of power as do conventional KICKER woofers, without the bulk. Ten- and 12-inch sizes are available.

The most serious statement from the first name in bass spent the past year getting tweaked and fine-tuned in the KICKER acoustic labs, and the results are ridiculously scary. New for 2007, presenting three select versions of the original monstrosity… SoloX™ Subwoofer. How do you improve on a patented mechanical marvel? Since the S18X debuted in 2003, KICKER engineers have been working to make SoloX more advanced. This year they went all the way, creating such a machine that no other could possibly match.

If the need is a round sub that delivers a high-performance upgrade in your ride, then look to the CompVR Subwoofer, with elevated bass technology exceeding anything else in its class. The 2007 CompVR retains the highest levels of KICKER engineering prowess. The Comp Subwoofer represents the best balance between high value and high performance available in today’s round-subwoofer market. It’s equipped with all the proven KICKER engineering that you expect, and it’s got a new look that gives off the impression that it has a mean streak.

Exciting New Sizes of Round-Woofer Boxes KICKER continues hammering it home by loading Comp, CompVR, and new CompVT Subwoofers into legendary KICKER Vented Boxes. CompVT-Loaded Sub Boxes are the smallest sub-loaded enclosures ever from KICKER labs, but no worries – this is a blistering, true high- performance KICKER woofer and box. It’s a punishing 10- or 12-inch sub in the size equivalent of an 8-inch enclosure. CompVR-Loaded Sub Boxes adds two new sizes of anarchy to go along with its duo of wicked dual-sub boxes, while vicious Comp-Loaded Sub Boxes dole out truckloads of affordable bass, including the new VC12 housing a brutal 12-inch Comp Subwoofer.
