Focus facility for Company. Census down, collections poor, and expenses over budget.  Monitoring daily ppd and expenses. Within two months reduced expenses by $25000.00.  Improved scheduling to utilize staff and reduce overtime  Outside marketing increased with Admission Team and Administrator. Medicare census improved to budget and above.  AR collections improved to increase revenue.  Facility Deficiency free survey 3/2012. 6/2010-4/2011 Willowbrook Rehabilitation and Care Center, LaVie, Inc.-Yadkinville Nursing Home Administrator 80bed skilled nursing facility which included a 20 bed locked Dementia Unit.  Increased census and marketing to community. For 3 months facility was at 100% occupancy.  Improved programs with Dementia Residents.  Deficiency-free 6/2011 from 13 deficiencies in 2010.  Transferred to Hunter Woods 4/11 closer proximity to residence. 8/2007- 5/2010 Westchester Manor- High Point Nursing Home Administrator 129 bed Skilled Nursing and Rehab Facility. 22 bed Memory Unit. Part of a CCRC.  Medicare Census average 35  Strong marketing strategies for short term rehab and facility of choice in area.  No complaint survey in a year and a half.  Deficiency free 2/2010. New start up facility.  Developed plans and initiated marketing strategies, recruiting, hiring, training, and contract negotiations with RVP.  Built a working relationship with the State Veteran Affairs Administration and The Federal Veterans Medical Center and Community.  Prepared for and passed all required surveys; Federal, DFS, Health Inspections, Life-Safety, and NC Drug Commission. 2/1998-2/2004 Britthaven, Inc. Nursing Home Administrator Britthaven of Jacksonville, 3/2000-2/2004 246 bed Skilled Nursing Facility that included a Locked Dementia Unit, Nursing Services, Rehab Services, Respite Care, Hospice Care, Ventilator Unit, and Rest Home Beds.
