Dear Parent/Guardian,

New Jerusalem Elementary School District (NJESD) will be offering a complimentary, limited bus service for Delta Charter School Middle and High School programs. Additionally, a new complimentary bus transportation service will be offered from New Jerusalem and Delta Charter to Patterson. This service will transport students from Patterson and Tracy to the Koster site. There will be one pickup and drop off location in Patterson and two (2) locations in Tracy. Services will begin Monday, August 26, 2013.

Each Parent/Guardian of a student(s) expressing interest in participating in this service MUST select a particular bus stop and bus time for their child(ren). All efforts will be made to accommodate the requests, however, if the selected bus stop is at capacity, students will be asked to utilize one of the other bus stops for their location.

Any student interested in using district transportation must submit a completed Transportation Form to the DCS office and obtain a Student ID Bus Pass PRIOR to being admitted on the bus. Incomplete forms will not be processed until complete. Students must present their bus pass prior to boarding. Students without a bus pass will NOT be allowed to ride and parent/guardian will be responsible for providing the needed transportation. Missing the appointed bus time or not having a bus pass does not constitute a valid excuse for missing classes.

Please review the below available bus stops, transportation times and the NJES & Delta Charter School Bus Regulations. Due to varying traffic conditions, please allow for a 10-20 min. fluctuation in arrival times. Students will need to arrive 10 minutes prior to the pick-up time at the designated locations.

On the attached Transportation Bus Request Form, list the requested bus route, and other complete all other requested information. Delta Charter Schools  Home of the Dragons  31400 South Koster Road, Tracy, CA 95304-8824 Phone: 209.830-6363 / Fax: 209.830.9707
