was a high school exchange student from France who loved the US and wanted to continue her studies here. She chose to major in engineering because she loved to discover how things worked. So she enrolled at CSULB, and graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).

At Raytheon she worked as an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer on power plant projects, and the automation for manufacturing food plants.

During the Y2K changeover, she made a major career change, taking a position at Disneyland to oversee the control system for Y2K, and be responsible for facility controls and energy management.

Her current title is Manager, Facilities Control Systems, which means she is responsible for lighting, HVAC, Power Monitoring and Energy Control Systems at the Disneyland Resort (Park, Hotels, and Downtown Disney)

How did she decide on electrical engineering as her field?

Would she do it again?

Christine Dorgan will talk about her decisions at Women & Careers Friday, March 9, 2007 in the USU Ballroom
