Professional Experience Cooper Consulting, Austin, TX 2012 - 2013 Software Consultant, Texas Home Visiting Project (Texas HHSC) One of two developers that designed and implemented a home visit data entry and reporting J2EE/Spring application for the HHSC of the State of Texas.  Worked on Java and JSPs w/ jQuery and JavaScript code to a backend Oracle database. Worked on reporting functions which included displaying data in Google charts via AJAX methods to Controller code.

IBM Austin, TX 1999 - 2011 UI Developer, Liquid Portal Project Front end/UI Developer on project that allowed internal and external users to create, join and manage coding competitions.  Worked on Front End JavaScript code using ExtJS framework to an XML backend database. This was an Agile development project.

Consultant, IBM Global Services, FedEx account (in Memphis, TN) Developer on project to migrate the FedEx data center to a new Linux platform.  Supported several J2EE applications to upgrade them to 1.6 JDK and WebLogic 10.3.2 to meet compliance for the new data center platform. Technical Team Lead, Business Partner Workplace (BPW) Application Development Led a user interface team which designed and developed the user interface to a web application that tracked business partner data through all phases of a business partner transaction including opportunity, solution design request, pricing and ordering.  Application utilized Websphere Portal Server and consisted of a main portal dashboard containing several port-lets pertaining to the each phase of the transaction.  Application utilized many current Web 2.0 technologies including ExtJS, a JavaScript framework that enhanced the GUI with customizable, dynamic components that enabled AJAX communication with the backend. This was an Agile development project that delivered code in two iterations, followed by a demo to the business owners.

Team Lead, Web Application Development, IBM SW GeT, IDR Application Development Team lead for a web application development group responsible for the IBM Partner World for ISVs website registration/corporate administration web applications.  Led development of several large projects including conversion of several existing legacy web applications into J2EE Struts based applications. This included design and creation of a J2EE application that migrated existing users ids and passwords to IBM’s corporate user registration system.  Technical release lead for several large releases of numerous requirements involving multiple applications.

Software Engineer, IBM Tivoli Security Business Unit Java GUI developer for IBM/Tivoli SecureWay security software.  Added functionality to the Policy Director Management Console Java application that provided management of authentication and authorization of users and groups.

Previous Work Experience

Eastman Kodak Corporation Rochester, NY Java developer in the UI group for the Kodak/Heidelberg Digimaster 9110 high volume network printer program.  Designed and developed a custom Java controls along with screen design and development.  Developed a document image viewer/assembler application which manipulated TIFF images and created the decompression and rotation algorithms for TIFF group 4 images.

Xerox Corporation Webster, NY Windows developer on the Soleil Network Server program.  Developed and maintained a portion of the Windows 3.1/95 client to the DocuTech, DocuPrint and DocuTech 6135 Xerox printers.  Created both the job submission applications and the PostScript and HP-PCL print drivers. Eventually merged the separate product program Windows clients into a common client that covered all printers.

QA Engineer on the Soleil Network Server program.  Developed and executed test plans for all the new Windows client features and executing test plan for automating Windows testing after evaluating 3rd party automated test software.

Project Engineer on the DocuTech development team.  Designed, implemented and tested large modules of Mesa code for several DocuTech features. Involved in all levels of the software development cycle including requirements design.  Other responsibilities included configuration management, management of software testers, invention proposals and tool development for test.
