Read the text and answer the following questions.

The smallest giant

Deng Yaping 鄧亞萍 is a 4-time Olympic gold medalist table tennis player. She was born in Zhengzhou 鄭州.

The biggest obstacle in Deng Yaping's table tennis career was not her competitors, but her height. When she was 9 years old, she won a provincial junior championship but was refused a place on the provincial team because she was too short. In 1988, when she was 13 years old, Deng won the national championship, but was refused a place on the national team because she was too short. She never gave up. At last, she won the doubles title at the world championships when she was 16. In 1991, she was 149 cm tall. Deng won the singles world championship.

She attended the 1992 Barcelona Olympics 巴塞隆納奧運會 and the 1996 Atlanta Olympics 亞特蘭奧運會, and won four gold medals in table tennis. She was voted Chinese female athlete of the century in 2003. Blacken the circle of the best answer.
