TRIALS (TOURNAMENT) INFORMATION
1. The trials (tournament) will be played according to the SATA Rules for Junior Tournaments. 2. Late comers will be scratched ( 15 minutes after first call ). NO PLAYER WILL BE EXCUSED AT ANY TIME ON SATURDAYS AND/OR TAKE PART IN SPORT TRIALS AT THEIR SCHOOL! ENTRY IS FOR THE WHOLE DURATION OF THE TRIALS. AT THE DISCRETION OF THE COMMITTEE PLAYERS MAY BE ALLOWED TO START LATER IF INVOLVED IN A COMPULSORY SCHOOL EVENT. 3. ANY PLAYER THAT WITHDRAWS, WITHOUT GOOD REASON, DURING THE TRIALS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR SELECTION 4. The draw will take place on Tuesday 22 January 2013. 5. The programme for the first day: THE DRAW AND ORDER OF PLAY WILL BE ON WP TENNIS WEBSITE. (Please phone CHANTAL DREYER) 6. Players must be prepared to play 3 single matches per day if required. 7. Entry fee R180 per player – must be enclosed with entry form or proof of payment faxed or e-mailed. 8. FORMAT : ROUND – ROBIN OR COMPASS DRAW (DEPENDING ON TOTAL ENTRIES). THE ORGANIZERS HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE FORMAT. 9. Starting time 15:00 ( report at 14:45 ) on Fridays and 8:00 on Saturdays. 10. Provincial teams for consideration will be from entered players and WP Fed. training squads*. (*Under special circumstances). 9. No entries will be accepted after the draw has been done. 10. No Telephonic entries will be accepted. Please fax or e-mail entries.
