About the Role

We need volunteers to help us to provide a welcoming and accessible environment to all visitors and callers to the office. We are looking for friendly, dedicated volunteers to help support LGBT Foundation by providing reception assistance, answering business calls and professional calls, providing building support and assisting the Services Team with general administration tasks.

Typical duties

 Able to support LGBT Foundation for a minimum of one shift per week of four hours  Provide reception support by providing a friendly and helpful welcome on our front desk.  Facilitating a welcoming and accessible environment to all visitors to the office.  Informing staff of their visitors arrival  Answering all business and professional calls  Referring callers on appropriately and take messages accurately  Supporting our Venue Hire function with general building support tasks, including room set up for meetings and conference etc.  Assisting staff with general administration tasks.  Following LGBT Foundation policies and procedures including safeguarding protocols  Complete all monitoring and feedback as required by LGBT Foundation  Notify LGBT Foundation in as much time as possible if unable to attend/maintain your commitment to your shift.
