Storybook: The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn Summary of storybook: Chester Raccoon does not want to go to school. He wants to stay home with his mother. She assures him that he'll love school. She has a family secret that will make school seem as warm and cozy as home. She kisses his hand and tells him that, when he needs some loving from home, he can open his hand and remember his mother loves him. He is so pleased with the kissing hand, he gives one to his mother and then went to school.
