The HCM Consultant will be responsible for supporting the successful design and implementation of enterprise-scale Workday HCM solutions. This will be done by working closely with client business teams and internal delivery teams to define the scope, shaping and delivering solutions that are fit for purpose and commercially viable. Works as part of a project team (on Kainos or client site) to deliver Workday HCM solutions to clients:

JOB TITLE: SUMMARY STATEMENT OF JOB: HCM Consultant ISSUE/DATE: Version 0.2 12/09/2013 RESPONSIBLE TO: Managing Consultant / Project Manager JOB BAND: 4 & 5 OVERVIEW OF JOB: . Supports the Senior HCM Consultant / Solution Architect with client design / demonstrations of Workday HCM functionality. . Under the supervision of the Senior HCM Consultant, is a key member of the team which completes the build of the Workday deployment tenants throughout the client implementation, including: . Using technical expertise in the configuration of tenant setup, business processes and Core HCM functionality to meet client requirements; . Takes ownership of the gathering of client HCM data and the technical migration of this into Workday; . Takes ownership of the delivery of medium sized components of the HCM solution; . Investigates and recommends business and technical solutions to meet client requirements; . Builds open and trusted client relationships and is prepared to challenge the client appropriately; . Supports client testing of Workday tenants and issue resolution; . Helps prepare for Workday Data Assurance (DA) reviews; . Documents requirements, business processes, application configurations, testing plans and other artifacts to ensure shared understanding and facilitate knowledge transfer. . Maintains and develops Workday capability, knowledge and experience through: . Shadowing other members of the Workday practice; . Completing Workday upgrade training for all new releases; . Completion of further Workday certifications in line with company requirements and personal skills/interests; . On the job learning and development through working with different Workday Practice members and on various client projects; . Self-study. . Complies with all confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensures security of information at all times.

LOCATION: Based in a Kainos location but may be required to work on client sites during implementation projects.

JOB TITLE: Workday HCM Consultant ISSUE/DATE: Version 0.2 12/09/2013 RESPONSIBLE TO: Managing Consultant / Project Manager JOB BAND: 4 & 5 EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES: Mandatory Requirements . Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant commercial environment with at least 1 year’s demonstrable success in consulting or project equivalent; . Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant development discipline; . Evidence of strong analytical and problem solving skills; . Experience of working to project plans; . Ability to work to tight deadlines with minimal supervision; . Capable of effective prioritisation of tasks and personal time management, while recognising and flagging issues outside area of own expertise; . Sound communication skills including ability to deliver presentations using structure & style appropriate to audience;

Desirable Requirements . Previous experience working with PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, Taleo, or other On-Premise and SaaS ERP systems; . Experience of working with at least two different clients and demonstrable evidence of building client relationships; . experience of working with large volumes of data or working with data management, analysis, transformation or migration tools; . Something around experience of working in multiple phases of an project lifecycle – e.g. requirements gathering, costing, implementation, testing, handover; .
