Performance medal awarded to the rider. The horse and rider combination to gain three aggregate scores at one level listed below. H/C scores will NOT be counted at the graded level.

EA WA Medals Bronze Silver Gold

Preliminary 67% 68% 70%

Novice 67% 68% 70%

Elementary 65% 68% 70%

Medium 60% 63% 65%

Advanced 60% 63% 65%

FEI Medals Horse and rider combination to gain three scores at Small Tour (at least one score must be from Intermediate I) , three scores at Medium Tour (at least one score must be from Intermediate B), Big Tour (at least one score must be from Grand Prix) as listed below. H/C scores will NOT be counted.

Small Tour * 62% 65% PSG / Inter I

Medium Tour * 62% 64% Inter A / Inter B

Big Tour * 60% 63% Inter II / GP

 The horse has a period of two years to obtain the three scores required to be eligible for a medal at each graded level.  The rider must have maintained continuous EWA membership throughout the whole of their qualifying period and must reside in WA for 6 months of the year within the time of application.  A horse and rider are only eligible for one medal of each description (Gold, Silver, Bronze) in each graded level.  In the event the horse is not owned by the rider, the owners consent must be obtained in writing and submitted with the application.

The rider is eligible for a Performance Medal when he/she achieves 3 aggregate scores in one Dressage Level in COMPETITIVE competitions as outlined below. Please note in EA competitions each horse is eligible for one Gold, one Silver and one Bronze Medal per level.
