Coach handed out a packet of forms and information. Page 1 schedule . The schedule is posted on the Perry Aquatics website http://perrylocal.org/aquatics/ Go to “HS Swimming & Diving” tab click ‘HS Meet Info’ The schedule is set and should not change except in the case of snow/calamity days.
Page 2 monthly calendar The monthly calendar is given to each athlete at the beginning of each month . If you need another copy, you can find it at the Aquatics website. Go to the “Home” tab and ‘drop down’ to pool calendar.
Page 3 Team Polo Shirt order form. The Team Polo Shirt order form is on the Aquatics website. Go to “HS Swimming & Diving” tab, click on forms. This form is for parents, friends and family members to purchase a shirt. The polos are ‘quick dry’ and light weight. You have your choice of male or female cut. Shirts say “Perry Swimming & Diving” cost of the shirts are $25.00. A sizing kit will be available at the Meet the Team supper on Friday night.
Page 4 Uniform Order Form. This form has the breakdown of the cost of the team suits, the warm-ups and Polo shirts. Coach stressed that he intends to keep the same style of the ‘uniform’ for next year. It is a large investment, but changes are not in the near future. Meaning the athletes should get multiple years out of the warm ups and polos. Coach does not want athletes wearing their team suits for practices. Team suits need to be kept for meets only.
Page 5 Time Standards. This chart lists the times for both boys and girls in each event for Letter pace, School Record, NEAC, District Qualifier, District Champion, State Qualifier, State Champion, All American, Jr National.
Fan Cloth Fundraiser Athletes were given an order form for “Fan Cloth Fundraiser”. The Booster Club will receive a portion of the proceeds based directly to sales. The more that is sold the better we do. 2 shirts are ‘Perry Swimming’ specifically, the rest of the items are Perry. Order forms & payment are due by the Black/White Meet (11/23)
Coach is available to speak to you anytime. You can reach him at his email: [email protected], his room at the high school 226 and at the pool.
Volunteers Booster Club President Christina Lacourt pointed out we need several volunteers this year. Sign Up sheets were provided for Timers, 50/50 sellers, Concession Stand, Spaghetti Suppers. For each of our home meets we are in need of 12 timers, 1 50/50 ticket seller and 5 concession stand workers. Volunteers will get free admission ($6.00) for each meet that they ‘work’.
Spaghetti/Pasta Suppers are typically hosted in a parent’s home the night before a Meet. It was suggested due to the size of the team, to have one or more families go in together on hosting.
All the Sign up sheets will be available at the Meet the Team Dinner on Friday night.
Senior Scrapbooks: Someone is needed to chair. If interested, please contact one of the Officers.
Window Signs Secretary Connie Swan spoke briefly on the status of the “window signs”. She needs a count as to how many people are interested in buying. Our cost will depend on how many we buy. A sign up sheet will be available at the Meet the Team Dinner. Subway Treasurer Tricia Scott requested that the Subway order forms be in by the Black & White meet. If you need a form, go to the Aquatics website “HS Swimming & Diving” tab, click on forms.
Concessions Please remember to donate a 12 pack of Pepsi product to help stock our concession stand. All products must be Pepsi. Water needs to be Aquafina. Lunch size chips/snacks or full size candy is also needed. There is the option of paying $6.00 instead of donating.
Patron Ads All athletes are asked to sell patron ads for the winter sports program. These ads will be listed in the each week’s program sold at home basketball games. 100% of the money collected comes directly back to our booster club. Regular Ad $2.00, Black Patron Ad $15.00, Gold Patron Ad $25.00. Athletes received the form at the 11/14 practice. Please return the form with payment (or email ads to [email protected] or [email protected]) by November 21.
