Job purpose To write and develop machine learning software code, that will aid the clinician in determining the appropriate clinical trial based on patient notes held on the EDGE system. Apply judgement and provide detailed, specialist advice and guidance as required.
Key accountabilities/primary responsibilities % Time 1. Examines existing software and determines requirements for new/modified systems in the light of 75 % business needs. Undertakes feasibility study to design software solutions. Writes and codes individual programs according to specifications. Develops user interfaces. Tests and corrects software programs. Writes code for specialist detailed software code in a machine learning context in support of desktop and mobile applications in healthcare. Plans and maintains database structures. 2. Ensuring compliance with departmental policies (such as change control, release management) 20 % and documenting related activities 3. Any other duties as allocated by the line manager following consultation with the post holder. 5%

How to be Criteria Essential Desirable assessed Qualifications, Skill level equivalent to achievement of Understanding of informatics in clinical Application knowledge and HND, Degree, NVQ4 or basic healthcare and Interview experience professional qualification in Electrical Previous experience of agile working and Electronic Engineering methodologies Proven work experience of writing and Have experience of the Microsoft developing machine learning code in a ASP.NET MVC framework, Javascript, healthcare setting acquired in relevant C#, LINQ for EF and Microsoft SQL roles and job-related training.
