Description and Agenda

The Technology and Curriculum Access Center, a program operated by Easter Seals Arkansas in collaboration with the Arkansas Department of Education, Special Education Unit, is offering a two day professional development workshop titled Teaching Students with Special Needs Algebra and Geometry, and Resources for Preparation of the Arkansas Alternate Portfolio. The workshop will be offered on the following dates from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Easter Seals Outpatient Services Building at 3920 Woodland Heights Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72212. This workshop will provide participants with resources, developed by staff at the Technology and Curriculum Access Center, for teaching mathematics to students with special needs, and provide tools to assist with alternate assessment development. Lunch will be provided for day one and lunch will be on your own for day two. The training is limited to 20 participants per two-day session.
