Hexham development hailed a success by former landowners

30 五月 2018: A luxury housing development in Hexham has been hailed a real success by the former landowners from Hexham Auction Mart. Staff from the mart took a tour around David Wilson Homes North East’s Woodland Rise development, which launched in July, to see how the land has been developed.

Woodland Rise on Corbridge Road sits on the eastern edge of Hexham, next to the stunning surroundings of Northumberland National Park. The site, which is built on former agricultural land owned by Hexham Mart, will include over 120 homes once the build is complete, with a range of three to five bedroom properties, and there are currently two showhomes available to view.

Managing Director of the Mart, Robert Addison, says if Hexham is to continue to grow and flourish, more housing is needed in order to stimulate and boost the local economy. He commented: “It was fantastic to see what the team at David Wilson Homes has done with the land. The site looks very impressive and the layout is very appealing.

“I believe if Hexham is to grow and expand it needs new housing such as this, which in turn will stimulate the economy making Hexham a more vibrant town. I think Woodland Rise will ultimately be an excellent housing development and one that really enhances the town.”
