CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS 2017 Conditions

1. Club Championships are for swimmers in Blue, White, Bronze, Silver, Club, Platinum, Gold and National squads who are members at the club by 31st July 2017. 2. Any swimmer who joins the club after 31st July 2017 will be eligible to swim & seeded accordingly but will be treated as a time trial & therefore not eligible to receive placing/medals. They will be entitled to a club record if they get the required time. 3. Any late entries will be treated as a time trial (i.e. not eligible to receive placing/medals). 4. Please check with your Coach what events are suitable for you to enter, especially swimmers in Blue and White squad. 5. All swimmers must sign in for each event they are entered at the table in the Spa reception area prior to warm up. If they don’t, you will not be on a heat sheet and you may not be able to swim. 6. It is a good idea to keep a note of the events you have entered. 7. We require an entry time for swimmers in Platinum, Gold and National squads so that the races can be seeded. 8. Times are not required for swimmers in other squads; they will be placed in Squad, then Year of Birth order. 9. Under no circumstances will mixed sex races be allowed. 10. Last minute changes to the programme (i.e. moving races/heats to accommodate late swimmers) will not be permitted. 11. Please enter all the events you want to swim by Monday 4th September 2017. Any swimmer who enters after this date may be accepted but will only be able to swim as a time trial (i.e. not eligible to receive placing/medals). 12. Results will be posted on the wall at the Spa after each event. 13. Results will be available on the website and circulated via squad reps ASAP after the event. 14. Winners of Medals or Badges will be able to pick these up on the night. 15. There will be an award for the Top Swimmer in each age group. Points will be given for places 1st to 6th and the winner is the swimmer with most points. Therefore, the more events you enter the better chance at winning this award. Points awarded are 1st place, 6 points and so on to 6th place, 1 point. 16. Age groups for 50m races are: - 9/u, 10/11, 12/13, 14/15 and 16+. 17.
