 Comus Property, LLC. submitted a permit to construct application for the installation of installation of a 500 ton per hour crushing and screening plant powered by up to 7 diesel engines. The proposed installation will be located at 10642 Woodsboro Road, Woodsboro, MD 21798. A docket containing the application can be found at the Walkersville Branch Library, 57 West Frederick Road, Walkersville, MD 21793. The deadline to request an informational meeting is November 4, 2016.

 VacPac, Incorporated submitted a permit to construct for the relocation of one Wolverine Hydro Line Flexographic Printing Press Model HL407X, Serial 41-2, equipped with a 0.5 MMBtu/hr. natural gas-fired dryer from 150 W. Ostend Street, in Baltimore, Maryland to 917 Middle River Road in Middle River, Maryland. The application includes the modification of existing permit to construct for four (4) Flexographic Printing Presses equipped with a regenerative thermal oxidizer, already located at 917 Middle River Road.

OPPORTUNITIES TO REQUEST A PUBLIC HEARING FOR DRAFT AIR QUALITY PERMITS TO CONSTRUCT:

 Caroline County Humane Society submitted an application for a permit to construct a B&L Cremation Systems BLP-200 animal crematory. The proposed installation will be located at Caroline County Humane Society 407 West Bell Street, Ridgely, MD 21660. A docket containing the application and draft permit to construct may be found at the Central Library – Denton Branch, 100 Market Street, Denton, MD. The latest date to request a public hearing is October 25, 2016 and the lastest date to submit comments is November 4, 2016.

W. L. Gore - Elk Mills V submitted a permit to construct application for the installation of one (1) R&D Modular Process line consisting of coating line with drying oven with emissions controlled by a thermal oxidizer. The proposed installation will be located at 105 Vieve’s Way, Elkton MD 21921. A docket containing application and draft permit conditions may be reviewed in the Cecil County Public Library, 301 Newark Avenue, Elkton, MD. The latest date to request a public hearing is October 11, 2016. The latest date to submit comments is October 21, 2016.

 Superior Contractor Services submitted a permit to construct application for the installation of a diesel-powered 150 ton per hour portable waste concrete and recycled asphalt crushing and screening plant to be located at 6928 Eastside Road, Parsonsburg, MD. A docket containing the application can be found at the Pittsville Branch Library, 34372 Old Ocean City Road, Pittsville, MD.

 ARJ Construction Company submitted an application for a permit to construct for the installation of one portable Spyder 516T coal screen rated at 600 tons per hour powered by a 110 hp Cummings diesel engine to be located on their properties at Taylor Deep Mine DM-00-111 , 3834 Westernport Road, and Taylor Highwall SM-13-463, Westernport Road, both in Westernport MD.

 U.S. Department of Agriculture, Beltsville Agricultural Research Center submitted an permit to construct application for the installation of a pathological waste incinerator (animal crematory) to handle the disposal of animal carcasses and bedding used in human and animal nutrition studies. The proposed pathological waste incinerator (animal crematory) will be located at 10300 Baltimore Avenue, Beltsville, MD 20705, outside of Building #1320 within the Animal Parasitology Unit, near BARC’s southern border with Greenbelt and shall replace an existing unit at the facility.
