weekly newsletter 27.01.17 ATTENDANCE – EVERY DAY COUNTS Dear Parents Here’s the top three for the week beginning 16 January. 1st Year 1 99.33 Thank you to everyone who supported Luckwell in the 2nd Year 4 98.71 Bedminster Winter Lantern Parade which took place last 3rd Year 3MW 97.73 Saturday – the designers of our fabulous teapot, the parents who ran workshops, the children who created the impressive hats, and the families who cheered us on our procession round Bedminster. The weather was kind to us and a great time was had by the community.

CHICKENPOX We have another confirmed case of chickenpox. Please refer to the letter sent home earlier this month, or on the school website, with particular attention to advice for pregnant women.

OPAL May we remind you that your child requires a change of footwear to put on when playing on the grass and in the mud, and to save her/his regular pair for indoor use. To save space and expense this could be the same pair of shoes/boots s/he uses for forest school activities.

WINTER WANDERLAND WORKSHOP There will be a Winter Wanderland Workshop from 3.15 until 5 pm on Tuesday 21 February.

PTA DISCO The PTA are organising two discos on Friday 10 February (not 11 February as advertised on the letter sent home). KS1: 4.30 – 5.30 pm KS2: 6 – 7 pm A letter was sent home earlier this week. Payment can be made via ParentPay (our preferred option) or by cash/cheque.

DODGEBALL There will be no Dodgeball Club next Monday.

STAND UP TO CANCER FUNDRAISER Congratulations to Ali and her team who raised an impressive £102 at their cupcake sale back in October.
