2015 Car Club Dust Off Tour May 9th

Saturday May 9, 2015 we had our Dust Off Tour. It rained on our way to the New Beginnings Restaurant so I thought we wouldn't get too many people to take the tour. When we got there Harry and Marcia Emmert were there to see us off. We informed the waitress that it was Harry's birthday and she brought him a Danish Roll with a candle on it. As he made his wish, everyone in the restaurant sang Happy Birthday to him. When it was time to leave, we only had 5 cars leaving the restaurant. We picked up The Swift's in Caledonia. It rained on and off all the way to the Gilmore Museum. When we got there, it stopped raining and the sun came out all the time we were there. In all there were 20 people that went.

We would like to thank all of those that braved the weather and took a chance with us. We had a great time walking thru the few new buildings they have built since the last time we were there. They ended up having a great turn out for their car show after all.

Sean, Cynthia, Michael & Daniel Smith (Maybe our little Daniel brought us good luck, as we were teaching him “Rain, Rain, go away” all morning) 
