Bridge Club The Bridge club continues in B49 every Thursday from 1.00p.m. Bring along your lunch and learn to play Bridge. Mrs McCalman, P7 teacher at Bishopmill Primary School will be helping to deliver the sessions. If you have played Bridge before or would like to learn then please come along – everyone welcome. S6 Fundraising Committee will be coming around registration classes until the 11th of November selling poppies so make sure to have your money ready. The suggested donation is £1.

Children in Need This year Children in need will be Friday 18th November. In order to raise as much money as possible we will be having a casual clothes day on the 18th. We would love to see as many people dressed as creative as possible. Can we ask anyone out of school uniform to bring a £1 donation for children in need. The fundraising committee will also be holding a fair in the hall throughout the day with various stalls, games. Please bring a donation to get involved. There will also be Pudsey ears and wristbands for sale on the day.

Speaker’s Corner this week has Aidan Henderson in S2 with his talk The Acting World. Please support Aidan tomorrow Friday, in the library at lunchtime.

S1-S3 Instructions for the S3 Parents’ Evenings have been issued via registration today. There are two evenings- 24th November for those with surnames A to L and the 30th November for those with surnames M to Z. Only those with surnames A to L will be able to book at present. Please ensure the instructions are issued to parents at the earliest opportunity. (AW) Junior Maths Club will be cancelled this Thursday after school. It will resume next Thursday. Could anyone who still has a consent form to return to Mr Hume for the Glasgow trip please do so ASAP.

S3 Pupil Council There will be a S3 pupil council meeting on Thursday 10 th November during period 1 in the conference room. S3 council members should register with their class period 1 and then make their way to the conference room. Class representatives must ensure they spend they speak with their registration classes this week, to ask classes what they would like raised at the pupil council meeting. Thanks

S1- The Christmas craft club is free…come to G20 on Thursday’s @ 1pm to get crafty. (Mrs Kerr)

S1/2 Cookery Club will be on after school on Thursday from 3.20pm-4.20pm please make sure you sign up in the HE department ASAP. It costs £1.00 and you need to bring a tub.

S6 Career Ready students reminder Master class no 5 takes place on Thursday 10th November at 10 am. Please note the finish time is now 12.00 not 2pm as previously stated and you will no longer require a packed lunch. Please meet at 9.30 am in the canteen on Thursday 10th. LB
