The operational cost of the parks and pool is the responsibility of Tanglewilde property owners. In order to ensure the continued maintenance of the pool and parks, it is necessary to run a six-year levy that will result in a tax of $0.60 per thousand dollars of assessed valuation beginning in 2013 and ending in 2018.

Please know this is not an additional tax to your current taxes. The levy that was passed in 2007 is expiring (residents currently pay $0.45 per thousand dollars of assessed valuation) and this new levy will replace that tax. Although it is $0.15 higher than the amount property owners are currently taxed, as you know, costs are rising and the pool and parks are no exception.

We’re asking you to please vote yes for this new levy, in order that our unique and precious pool and parks can continue to offer families in our community a safe and beautiful place to enjoy.
