Professional Goals and Philosophy Submit specific information about your annual goals in teaching, research, and service and progress toward meeting those goals. While sections 1-9 should list objective data, subjective comments are appropriate in this section as you outline your goals and accomplishments. Also attach a philosophy statement about your scholarship relating to teaching, creative work, and outreach (see the P&T document). While the philosophical statement may be quite generally and may not change significantly from year to year, your goals should be more specific and will no doubt change annually.
