We are the fifth largest UK airport outside of London and the only top ten UK airport to see growth each year since 2009. With extensive plans to grow further over the next 10 years, we are North Somerset’s largest single-site employer. Serving our region with over 100 direct routes, we also act as an inbound gateway to the South West. Our airport is defined by our exceptional people, who have a passion for travel, a willingness to go the extra mile, and pride in operating our airport to the highest possible standards.

We have a dedicated team of Volunteer Information Patron’s (VIPs) who are our goodwill ambassadors helping us to give our customers an amazing experience making each one feel welcomed and valued. You’ll welcome visitors to the South West ensuring a courteous and friendly service.

On a typical day we can have c200 flights arriving / departing and c24,000 customers travelling through our terminal. You can be supporting our customers anywhere within the airport from car park to departure gate. By volunteering with us, you will not only support the Bristol Airport team but gain valuable experience where no 2 days are the same.

You’ll be an outgoing and friendly person who is quick to adapt to any situation. You’re a natural with people and know what it takes to keep people happy, whether it’s our customers or your colleagues in the terminal or across the wider airport business.. Enthusiasm, passion and a proactive approach – you’ve got them all in abundance.

Eligibility Criteria:

 Able to commit to a regular shift (minimum of 4 hours per week); ideally during our peak hours which can be early morning, evenings or weekends.

 Face to face customer service experience

 Flexible and adaptable approach to work

 Must be able to provide references covering the last 5 years

 Must be fluent in English - both written and orally

 We especially encourage members of the local community over the age of 18
