Annual Children’s Party – Welcome to the Water Park!

On Sunday Aug 4th The Women of the Moose had our annual Children’s Summer Party. This year’s theme was “Waterpark.”

There was a Waterslide and a Slip n’ Slide. The children just loved them! Their happy, wet faces told it all. Seeing them climb up the stairs to the waterslide and come down and to hear their squeals was just awesome! The Slip n’ Slide to a get going fast run and a leap of faith. May photos were taken by a volunteer of all the children and their wonderful happy faces!! ...... 11 Also the Bouncy House is always a blast for them! We had games for all ages, such as a little fishing pond, and other various fun things. The Dunk Tank is always a blast, not only for the children but for our brave volunteers!

A big table of Arts and Crafts kept them all busy when they needed a little rest! The wonderful food was delish, and we also had the popcorn and the cotton candy. It was a beautiful day by the time we opened for the party.

The children all had arm full of prizes and fun things they had made. Congratulations to the winners of the overfilled back packs!

It is always a pleasure to see the Children, the Grand Children, the nieces and nephews of our Lodge Members having such a wonderful time at this event. Everyone looked happy and wet!!

A special Thank-you to Joyce Shirton for being the Chairperson for the event! And to Nanette Poirier for donating her time to take so many wonderful pictures.

Thank-you to all of our members that took the time to volunteer and make this yet another one to go down as a complete success.
