Videolinq New Site Information and Application Videolinq New Site Procedure  1. Find an appropriate room. Consider the following: a. Size b. Acoustics c. Lighting - External light may need addressing e.g. blinds/curtains.  2. Submit via email your Videolinq New Site Application and the Contacts Details of Site Coordinators.  3. Videolinq will confirm approval by email. NETWORK TAFE WAN Network only: Establish that your site has access to the TAFE Wide Area Network (WAN).  If not contact Videolinq Office ASAP.  If so; apply for a videoconference VLAN 400 connection for the VC room with Unisys through your IT Manager. a. Log a job with Unisys to enable VLAN 400 capability to a specified port in the selected VC room/s. b. Once VLAN is connected, ask Unisys for the IP range for the VLAN connection. (This is required by Telstra iVision.)  Purchase required videoconference and peripheral equipment: a. Installation is included in the purchase price of a videoconference unit. b. Please retain original packaging in the event the equipment needs to be returned for repair or relocation.  Contact the Team Telstra Service Desk 1800 025 369 to arrange an appointment time to set up network connection and videoconference equipment test.  Contact Videolinq Office to arrange a videoconference.  Videolinq to request site be listed on TBA Online.  Appoint Site Coordinators and Back up Site Coordinators (SC & BSC): a. These contact personnel are typically drawn from administration staff that will be located close to the videoconference room. b. SC & BSC require operational and administrative training. The training will be provided via videoconference or teleconference as organised by Videolinq Office. c. Appointed SC & BSC personnel should contact the Videolinq Office to arrange inclusion in the next scheduled training program.
