Guidelines for Use of the NAEA Logos

Guidelines for Use of the NAEA Logos September, 2011 The NAEA logo and the enrolled agent logo are the primary graphic elements of the association’s branding program. Consistent application and precise production of the logos will identify and reinforce public awareness of the association and the profession. When the logos are used properly with the other elements of the branding program, a unique and effective visual style can be established. The logos and their treatment are described in the following pages.

THE OFFICIAL NAEA LOGO

The NAEA logo contains four elements: 1. The stylized NAEA initials (rendered in Mrs. Eaves – Adobe font ) 2. The association logotype, National Association of Enrolled Agents (Mrs. Eaves PetiteCaps) 3. The tagline, Powering America’s Tax Experts 4. The cross lines separating the other three elements

All elements must be used in every application. The entire logo should be reduced or enlarged as a single unit so that the proportions are not altered.

The initials “NAEA” and the words “National Association of Enrolled Agents” should always appear in the typeface as shown. No other typeface should be used as a substitute. National Association of Enrolled Agents must be displayed in two lines underneath the cross line. Always use the logos provided by NAEA. Never redraw the logo or modify it in any way. The width of the signature must not be less than 3 inches.

The use of NAEA’s logo is restricted to promotional and business materials of NAEA, its affiliates and members in good standing. Individual members and associates may only use the association logo in materials that promote solely the individual member and not a business that cannot report 100 percent NAEA membership among employees (please contact NAEA for special circumstances or clarification). Use by corporate partners requires express written permission from NAEA. Unauthorized use constitutes trademark infringement under both federal and state laws.
