2. A male age around 18/20 years, height 5’7”, fair complexion, round face, wearing blue jeans, found on 29-1-2020.

3. A male age around 60/65 years, height 5’8”, wheatish complexion, round face, wearing white shirt & khaki lungi, found on 31-1-2010.

01 February, 2010 BLIND MURDER CASE SOLVED : ACCUSED ARRESTED With the arrest of Saleem @ Sonu S/o Ali Hasan R/O K-426 Gali No. 4 Janta Colony, Welcome Delhi, a blind murder case has been solved by the staff of PS Welcome. On his disclosure his associates were also arrested and the weapon used in the offence also recovered. INCIDENT On 15/01/10 at about 10:20PM an information received at PS Welcome Delhi that some person stabbed a boy near kirti Mandir Subhash Park Shahdara. Injured was rushed to GTB Hospital by PCR Van. ASI Mahavir Singh reached at the spot and SHO/Welcome also reached the spot as he was on patrolling of the area. Statement of the injured Deepak s/o Suresh recorded at GTB Hospital and a case was registered at PS Welcome vide case FIR No. 09/10 u/s 394/34 IPC.DDNO 7B About 4 AM on 16/1/10 an information was received at PS Welcome from GTB Hospital that the injured Deepak s/o Suresh has expired during treatment and section of law was changed to 302/34 IPC. TEAM A team was constituted for the investigation of the case consisting SI Manoj Kumar,ASI Jalbir Singh, Ct Jagroop, Ct Ombir, Ct Rajvardhan, Ct Dinesh and others under leadership of Insp Raman Kumar Jha SHO Welcome and close supervision of Sh. D.V. Joshi ACP/Shahdara/ North East Dist.

INVESTIGATION Initially, there was no clue about the accused in this case. Extensive local inquiries were made by the police teams but no clue found. During the investigation more than 45 persons of the age group of 18-22yrs apprehended and interrogated since 16/01/10 but no clue. On 30/01/10 a secret information was received that Saleem @ Sonu who is not traceable since 16/01/10 and it is possible that he might have committed this crime. On this information a team consisting ASI Jalbir Singh, Ct Jagroop, Ct Ombir, Ct Rajvardhan was constituted to apprehend Saleem @ Sonu. On detailed interrogation he revealed the entire incident. On his disclosure his associates were identified, weapon of the offence i.e Churri was recovered and other articles were also recovered. His associates Hafiz s/o Aneesh r/o G-412 Janta Colony, Welcome, Delhi and Kasim s/o Mohd. Aneesh r/o G-184 Janta Colony, Welcome Delhi were also arrested on 30/01/10. All the three accused were send to J/C and the another accused who is juvenile is yet to be apprehended. -2-

INTERSTATE GANG OF AUTO-LIFTERS BUSTED - THREE ARRESTED – 25 STOLEN MOTOR CYCLES RECOVERED

With the arrest of three accused, the South District Police has busted an interstate gang of auto-lifters and recovered 25 motorcycles stolen from various parts of Delhi.

ACCUSED ARRESTED: 1. Saleem Khan age 28 years r/o E-128, Mohammad Pur, New Delhi, Permanent Address:- Lilong Turel Ahanbi Dam, P.S. Lilong, P.O. Nungi, Distt-Thoubal Imphal, Manipur;

2. Mazid Ali age 35 years s/o Altab Ali R/o E-128, Mohmmad Pur P. Add:- Lilong Chingkham Makna, P.O./P.S.-Lilong, Distt-Thoubal State-Manipur City- Imphal; and

3. Suraj Khan age 26 years s/o Sh. Abdul Klam R/o- E-128, Mohmmad pur, P.Add:- Lilong Fural Alanbi, Distt-Thoubal, State- Manipur

INCIDENT, TEAM & ARREST

To prevent the increasing incidents of M.V. Thefts and to apprehend the criminals involved in these incidents, a special police team consisting of Inspector Investigation Sunil Kumar Sharma, S.I. Sunjay Sharma, PSI Gajendra Singh, PSI Arvind Kumar, HC Ajay Singh, Constables Anuj, Rajesh and Saleem under supervision of Inspr. A.S. Rawat, SHO/S.J. Enclave and Shri Mahender Singh, ACP/S.J.Enclave was constituted.

They were asked to produce the documents of the said motorcycle. But they could not produce any documents related to it. Besides they got petrified, which created suspicion. On sustained questioning, they disclosed that today they had come to Arjun Nagar area in order to commit auto theft. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 7/10 u/s 379 IPC was registered at PS S.J. Enclave and all the three accused were arrested. INTERROGATION & MODUS-OPERANDI

Since the accused belonged to Manipur they sold the stolen motorcycle for just forty to forty five thousand rupees to unsuspecting customers in North-Eastern States. They used to send Bilti through courier to their party in Manipur through which they get the consignment delivered as in case of normal goods.

PROFILE

1. Saleem Khan has studied up to 10th class. After that he started doing business of Readymade Imported Garments from Myanmar at Deemapur for a long period. In the year 2008, he left for Bangalore and worked as a Security Guard. He came to Delhi in the month of July 2009 and started living at Sagarpur along with his Manipuri associates. He has earlier been arrested alongwith his associates by Dabri Police. After his release from jail, he again started committing auto thefts in various parts of Delhi.

2. Mazid Ali @ Sona is a Graduate from Manipur University in year 1997. In the year 1998, he started doing business of Readymade Imported Garments from Myanmar at Deemapur for a long period. After that, in the year 2008, he left for Bangalore and worked as a Security Guard. He came to Delhi in the month of July 2009 and started living at Sagarpur and started committing auto thefts.

3. Suraj Khan is a graduate from Manipur University in year 2007. He worked as a Security Guard in Pune for one month. He is the new companion of this gang and has been arrested for the first time.

Their fourth associate Abbas @ Killer also has links with a banned Underground Outfit. His involvements in various crimes are being verified.

RECOVERY

25 stolen motorcycles have been recovered. The investigation of the case is in progress and efforts are being made to ascertain their other involvements and to recover more stolen vehicles.

GANG OF ARMED ROBBERS BUSTED

With the arrest of the following accused persons, P.S. Mahendra Park police busted a gang of armed robbers and solved a case of armed robbery.

1. Vikas @ Vicky s/o Anand Goel r/o T-1198, Kabir Basti, Malka Ganj, Delhi aged 26 years, Un-married, 8th pass, school dropped, un-employed, drug addict, involved in 9 criminal cases.

2. Vipin @ Nitin s/o Pradeep Kumar r/o T-289, Kabir Basti, Akhadey wali Gali, Malka Ganj, Delhi, aged 24 years, Un-married, 8 th pass, school dropped, un-employed, drug addict and involved in 4 criminal cases.

3. Dinesh @ Haddi s/o Ganga Shahu r/o D-75, Masjid wali Gali, Vill. Bhadola, Delhi, aged 21 years, un-married, illiterate, un-employed and involved in one criminal case.

4. Chandan @ Rudal s/o Dina Nath r/o Vill. Kisnupali, P.S. Daroli, Distt. Siwan, (Bihar) At present-- Vagabond, Subzi Mandi, Azad Pur, Delhi, aged 22 years, illiterate, un-married, un-employed and involved in 11 criminal cases.

5. Shekher Yadav @ Manoj s/o Inder Dev r/o Vill. Ghoga Gopal Pur, P.S. Kalgoan, Distt. Bhagal Pur (Bihar), At present--Jhuggi No. C-34, Industrial area, Wazir Pur, Delhi, aged 25 years, involved in one criminal case.

These accused persons are used to for armed robbery near Subzi Mandi, Azad Pur, Ring road area and in moving buses.

INTRODUCTION:

On 31.1.10 at about 6.30 PM, when SI Madan Mohan alongwith staff was on patrolling duty in Fruit Mandi, Azad Pur, he received an information that some armed robbers have assemble near Bhama Shah Park corner and they are preparing for dacoity in Libra Petrol pump. On this, a raiding party was constituted to nab the robbers and HC Ved Prakash was deputed to listen the plan of these robbers. On confirmation of information and indication of HC Ved Prakash and secret informer, above mentioned four robbers namely Vikas @ Vicky, Vipin @ Nitin, Dinesh @ Haddi and Chandan @ Rudal were apprehended by the police team and recovered one knife, one dagger, iron rod and chilly powder from their possession. Two accused persons namely Babla and Rutmani were succeeded to abscond due to darkness, both were armed. Hence, a case u/s 399/402 IPC & 25 A. Act was registered.

INVESTIGATION:

During the course of investigation, accused Dinesh @ Haddi disclosed that two days before previous night, he alongwith Manoj @ Shekhar, Babla and Rukmani had committed a armed robbery in which two Kashmere people were robbed on the point of knife and Rs. 15000/- were looted from them. A case FIR No. 19/10 u/s 394/397/307/34 IPC P.S. Mahendra Park already stands registered in this regard. Entire robbed money from Kashmere people was with Babla and Rukmani. When they were on the process of distributing the booty, Rudal @ Chandan came and asked the share but Babla denied as Rudal was not their associate at the time of robbery and injured him. But later on they were on compromise and again assembled for dacoity for larger amount and were caught but Babla and Rukmani managed to escape from the spot due to darkness. Investigation of these cases is on progress.

MODUS OPERANDI:

This gang of robbers headed by Vikas @ Vicky, who is already involved in 9 criminal cases, are very much dangerous and used to commit armed robbery, usually their target areas are Subzi Mandi, Ring road and moving buses.

GANG OF CHEATS BUSTED AND THREE PERSONS ARRESTED.

The staff of Police Station Aman Vihar Outer District has busted a gang of cheats and has arrested three accused persons namely 1) Rajan @ Manmeet Kohli S/o Sh. Joginder Singh R/o 22/13-B IInd Floor Moti Nagar Delhi, 2) Ashok S/O Lal Dhari R/o A-120 Prem Nagar- III and3) Jitender Jha S/O Sh. Bhogender Jha R/o S-453 Mithila Vihar Road Prem Nagar II Aman Vihar. 7 incidents and 3 cases of cheating and forgery have been solved and recovered Rs. 17,600/- , forged Identity Cards and driving licence etc from their possession.

BREIF FACTS

On 13/01/10 Sh. Mukesh Kumar Bansal submitted a complaint at PS Aman Vihar in which he alleged that he was contacted on his mobile phone by a person who told him to provide loan from Punjab National Bank without guarantee. He was in need of loan so he replied in affirmative. Then the caller send a person having PNB identity card who collected documents along with bank statement from him and told him that some other person from loan department will come to verify his credibility and he will collect signed cheques as advance installment of loan. On 12.1.10 one person namely Sachin came to him and collected 3 cheques of Bank of Baroda and assured him that his loan for Rs. 3,00,000/- has been sanctioned and Rs. 3,00,000/- will be credited to his account very soon. On 13.1.10 when sh. Bansal went to his bank to check his account he found that instead of credit to his account Rs. 32800/- were withdrawn from his account by one Robin Bhasin on the basis of the cheque he has given to Mr. Sachin, he tried to contact the said person but the phone was found switch off.

This complaint was marked to Inspr. Gajender Singh who enquired the matter and found that all mobile phones given in the complaint are switched off and on technical search of these phones one phone was found used on some other number. Inspr. Gajender Singh tried to contact the probable victims to help to nab this gang. Sh. Parkash Saini who was also lured by the cheats to provide loan agreed to help the police and told that the cheats will come to collect the cheques on 28.1.10 in the afternoon.

TEAM

A team consisting of Insp Gajendra Singh (Insp Investigation), SI Kamal Singh Meena, HC Raj Kumar, HC Harphool Singh , Ct. Anil Kumar, Ct. Vishal and Ct. Satender Kumar under the leadership of Insp L.C.Yadav SHO Aman Vihar and under the close supervision of Sh Dhanveer Dutt ACP/Sultan Puri Delhi was formed.

INVESTIGATION During course of investigation on 28/01/10 a trap was laid at Metro Station Rithala where the alleged persons have to come to collect the cheques from Sh. Parkash Saini. At about 4.00 PM accused persons Rajan @ Manmeet Kohli S/o Sh. Joginder Singh 2) Ashok S/O Lal Dhari and3) Jitender Jha S/O Sh. Bhogender Jha were apprehended from Rithala Metro Station. Sh. Mukesh Kumar Bansal who was accompanying the raiding party identified two persons namely Rajan and Jitender Jha who has met him to cheat him. A case FIR No. 26/10 u/s 420/406/419/468/34 IPC was registered at PS Aman Vihar.

MODUS OPERANDY

On interrogation accused persons disclosed the modus operandy that accused Ashok used to call many persons daily with different names and offer loan on cheap interest rates from nationalized banks without guarantee. If any person accepts his offer then accused Jitender Jha used to visit the address of the probable victim and collects the documents, photos and particularly bank statements to know the balance in his account. To show their authenticity they make calls to verify the assets of the victim and then the third accused Rajan visits the victim and pose himself as bank employee after showing his I/D Card of PNB in the name of Sachin and collect the blank singed cheques and if the probable victim objects to give cheque without name of payee then he fill the words P N B which they later on change it as ROBIN BASIN by inserting letters in the vacant space. Then they withdraw cash from the bank by showing forged I/D i.e. driving licence in the name of Robin Basin. When they withdraw cash from the account of victim they destroy the sim card of the phone which was used in that instance and purchase new sim on the identity of the victim. Accused persons also disclosed that they are doing these activities in Delhi and NCR for the last one and half year and till now 7 victims have been traced by the IO on the basis of information and documents recovered from accused persons.

Further investigation is under progress.

2) Ashok S/O Lal Dhari R/o A-120 Prem Nagar-III Aman Vihar Delhi, Aged 22 years, Marreid, B.Com Pass (DU) and has worked as sales man in Barkleys Bank for 4/5 months. He is the master mind of this gang.

3) Jitender Jha S/O Sh. Bhogender Jha R/o S-453 Mithila Vihar Road Prem Nagar II Aman Vihar, Delhi, 30 Years, 12th Class Married.
