St. Patrick Parish, Stephensville To: 2015 Human Foosball participants Subject: Changes for 2016 April 2016

On behalf of St. Patrick’s, the Round-Up Committee would like to thank all who participated in last year’s human foosball event. It was our first year and all went pretty well. However, we look forward to improving the event this year. We hope to make it less physical, more crowd involvement and much more fun. To do this we will be making a few changes.

 Playing area will be lengthened 10 feet.

o This will separate people in hopes of avoiding contestants from kicking each other.

 Players will not be allowed to extend their body under their hand bar further than their waist line.

o Each player will be warned once. After that a penalty point will be given to the opposing team. Court judge’s decisions are final.

 All matches will run 7 minutes instead of 10 minutes.

o Ties will be sudden death.

 All teams are encouraged to pre-register on line.

o 24 teams limit. If not filled up we will take registration on game day.

 Each team will play two games.

o We will match up pre-registered teams in groups of four, by size and age to the best of our ability. Teams registering on game day will be by the luck of the draw.

o In each round of four teams, 2 teams will play each other on one court while the other 2 play on the opposite court.

o Winners will play winners and losers will play losers in the second game. When the second games are complete the team that is undefeated will be the 1st place team.

o Runner up will be determined by crowd applause-any team can be runner up.

Thank you again for being with us last year. We hope these changes will encourage you and others to come and join us in Stephensville on Sunday August 7th at St. Patrick’s Second Annual Human Foosball.

Thank You, St. Patrick’s Round-Up Committee
