Diversity Student Ambassador 2014-2015 Application Information The University of North Alabama Diversity Student Ambassador Program is for students that are dedicated to serving and representing the Office of Diversity and Institutional Equity and its mission.

 Be in good standing at the University of North Alabama  Be enrolled in at least twelve (12) hours  Have a Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher  Exhibit academic excellence, strong communication skills both verbal and written, leadership skills, and strong interpersonal skills  Be able to attend scheduled mandatory training and agree to time commitment to fulfill Ambassador Duties

 Complete and Submit Application to Office of Diversity and Institutional Equity( Online una.edu/diversity or in person at The Commons- Room 313 By September 16th at 4pm)  Why would you be a good candidate for DSA? (Essay of at least 150 words)  Participate in an interview with the selection committee members  Provide one letter of recommendation

 Improvement and enhancement of interpersonal skills  Development of leadership, group dynamics, and communication  The ability to meet, interact, and network with other students, faculty, and administrators
