7. DISCUSSION ITEMS
A. May 2 in service: Dr. Mark Sloane of the Children's Trauma Assessment Center at Western Michigan University is a board certified pediatrician with specialized advanced fellowship training in adolescent behavioral medicine. He has more than 30 years clinical pediatric experience, and is owner and medical director of the Center for Behavioral Pediatrics in Kalamazoo. B. Bessemer School District will be hosting the ISD CTE class “Certified Nursing Assistant”
8. ACTION ITEM A. Recommendation to hire Nicholas Heikkila for K-12 Phy. Ed. B. Recommendation to hire Elik Zelinski for Spanish and Social Studies C. Recommendation to hire Micaela Redders for English D. Recommendation to hire Robin Bock as .5 Counselor E. Adoption of the 2017-18 School Calendar F. Move to renew downhill skiing co-op agreement with Ironwood, Bessemer, and Wakefield/Marenesco G. Move to accept resignations as presented
